Who we are
Kräutertempel GmbH is an owner-managed import and trading company for organic and conventional products in the field of herbs, spices, seeds and dried vegetables and has been based in Hamburg since 2005. Our owner and managing director, Mr Ayman Abdelgawad, comes from Egypt and combines in-depth knowledge of the German market with deep insight into the economic, cultural and industry-specific conditions in Egypt.

Our corporate success is based on our unique direct connection to Egypt as the country of origin. With our affiliated company “El Malek C.” in Egypt, we have a unique corporate structure. From cultivation and production in Egypt to distribution in Germany, everything stays in one hand through our managing director Ayman Abdelgawad, who is both the owner of El Malek C. in Egypt and managing partner of Kräutertempel GmbH in Hamburg. This enables us to respond flexibly and quickly to market changes and gives us exceptional product expertise & market knowledge.

Warehouse in Germany: Our organic-certified warehouse is located in D-25348 Glückstadt in the Hamburg metropolitan region and can hold up to 400 tonnes. A new, modern warehouse is being planned at the same site. You are welcome to conclude annual contracts with us and we will store these products for you – so you can call off quantities flexibly and as needed.
Import handling & logistics: We are happy to support you with our logistics services. Thanks to our cooperation with selected & high-performance freight forwarders, we ensure safe and reliable delivery of your goods right to your door.
